A Visit to Sharpe Hill

Today we made a trip out to Connecticut to visit Sharpe Hill, a vineyard in the northeast corner of the state. Who knew CT had vineyards? Not me! It was a completely picturesque setting; we had a nice wine tasting outside and then lunch inside (which was good since it did eventually start to rain). Such good wine and food! When we were leaving, the rain let up just enough for me to get some photos-

~*What a lovely spot to enjoy some wine*~

Rain Rain Go Away

"Morning Pink"
While I normally am happy to curl up with a Sox game and my dog on a rainy day, I'm hoping it gives us a break for Sunday. I will be back at Sowa from 10am - 4pm, a few hours without rain isn't too much to ask right?! If you feel like venturing out, please stop by, I'd love to see you!

Tuesday Tulip

A lone wild tulip... this is a photograph digitally enhanced against a black and white film grain. I took this picture on a recent trip to Wisconsin right on the shores of Lake Michigan.

It is printed on 5.5 x 5.5"* archival, glossy photo paper and comes in an 10x10" high-quality regular surface mat board with backing. It would fit perfectly in an 10x10" frame!

This photo (and several others like it) is available in my Etsy shop.
